		<description>In terms of the music industry, it&#039;s antiquated. Their business model can&#039;t support huge bloated corporate staffs with hit or miss artists in the internet age.  Rather than change their structure and boot a lot of bloat from the staff, they fight to control digital rights management.

Apparently some indie labels are thriving right now -- they&#039;re small with lower overhead and are using social media to build a fan base for their artists.

It always comes down to change. People fight change until they&#039;ve lost. And then they&#039;re preaching about how good change is once they&#039;ve been forced to.</description>
