Stetoscope

Yesterday, a friend of mine I used to work with in advertising, wondered how it was possible to write as many posts as bloggers do… So I tried to explain him the process I followed with my own blog to show him that it was not that difficult. I will try explain my blogging process, hoping it could convince (or help), my friend and may be readers to come to blogging.

When I started blogging, I wanted to write down my ideas on the internet and promote them. That was really pretantious and impossible in the long term since I just wrote 2 or 3 posts following that way. In fact, those first posts were painful to write and did not really fit with blogging activity since nobody came to visit my blog… I was misleading.

So, I changed my way. I started to read other blogs daily and to write more personnal and related to the global discussion posts. I had discovered what I would call “the creative hearing process”. The idea of this is that any creative activity, including blogging of course, suppose, first, a very deep hearing.

Through “deep hearing”, I mean the will to really understand each individual point of view. Why does she or he say that, use this word, express this opionion that way… It is so important to be open to cultural, social, historical, economical differences. That is the real first activity with blogging. And that is why many of the posts I wrote have come through the reading of other blogs…

The strange thing with the creative hearing process is that deeply hearing other people is not blurring or melting one’s personnality. on the opposite it reveals the interest of one’s personnality. Since everyone is different, the idea someone will generate is always different from one another. So after a deep hearing work, everyone is able to express a sharp idea about what he heard.

That is why it is a true “creative process”. It is personnal but can be heard by every talk participant, and will bring a new point of view. That is why blogging and many creating activities on the web will deeply change the face of the world, everyone will be educated to hear in order to create a personnal point of view that brings value.

The world is changing because each internet actor will soon or late, experience the creative hearing process.
