I am amazed about how many messages, news, images, recommandations I read everydays. The amazing thing is not really the amount but rather the diversity of them. Intimate signs, personal news, professional messages, those from my friends, the feedbacks of pearltrees’ community, the web industry, the world… And I have (probably like you) to deal each of them. I bet that this ability will be a key skill ot the next years.

Why is it a problem as to me? It causes a rythm confusion. Indeed, to be “in” the discussion, we have to react on time to every twitts, chat, status, SMS,… And that create a kind of hectic conversation. The difficulty is that these kind of discussion is setting the rythm of every discussions. At that ame, the gifted reply quick spiritual or insightful messages. But the stimulation is so intense that I notice a rise of repetitions, empty messages, inapropriate answers… Indeed the quickest the rythm is pulsating, the emptiest the messages becomes.

So should we slow down? I do not think so. Roughly speaking, I think the global movement is rather good, but I think, we have to build some tools that will help us to back off sometimes and get a bigger picture to reload our spiritual or insigh flood. The idea is to get a better understanding about a topic, a conversation, an event. To take time to weigh pros and cons, to analyse, in order to get back to the discussion bringing some fresh air.
